Hempstead man, age 19, arrested in Mineola on Long Beach City Court warrants.

Hempstead woman, age 44, arrested Long Beach Plaza for Petit Larceny.        

On Friday November 4, 2011 Police Commissioner Thomas R. Sofield Sr announced the Arrest of Joshua Charczenko, 27, of East Broadway in Long Beach for Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the second degree. Long Beach Detectives seized multiple pounds of Marijuana from Mr Charczenko along with a shotgun and drug paraphernalia.

The defendant will be arraigned in Long Beach City Court on Monday November 7, 2011.

On Monday November 7, 2011 Police Commissioner Thomas R. Sofield Sr announced the arrests of Brian O'Neill, age 51, of Minnesota Avenue in Long Beach, Arthur Corso, age 48, of Suffolk Road in Island Park, John Amabile of Quebec Road in Island Park and Richard Gould, age 42 of Grand Avenue in Baldwin.

The Long Beach Police Department in conjunction with the Nassau County Police Department, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office, and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) conducted a lengthy narcotics and loan sharking enterprise investigation which, culminated with the arrests of O'Neill, Corso and Gould. During the course of investigation 3 automobiles and over $100,000 in United States Currency were seized.

The defendants will be arraigned in Long Beach City Court on Tuesday November 8, 2011.
